What I think is most important here, using the engagement relationship idea, is that once you are engaged your title changes (to fiance) and your roles change: you are no longer wooing, but now confirming; no longer trying to win them over, but now creating opportunities to work together to build a better home together, collaboratively.

I think it is this change in role that many campaigns and organizations fail to recognize. As supporters move up the engagement ladder, from friend to fiance, it&#039;s important to recognize how the relationship (and thus the calls to action, requests for support, and so on) changes with that shift.
