Pam, A 20% increase in monthly revenue says it all!

Moving donors from that one-time or once a year gift of $25 or $50 to something larger honors their commitment to your organization AND allows an organization to treat them as the special stakeholders they are.

Great article. In bad economic times, even though a non-profit may represent needs that speak to our hearts, we all have to watch our pockets and where our money is going. It is so hard to be a non-profit. They need all the marketing help they can muster.

I always give whatever time I can to write for non-profits so I am also learning some techniques from this article as well.

Great story to encourage non-profits to shine with their marketing efforts. I am always amazed what an organization can do when they add a good marketer to their team. Congrats to Natania for her sucess and a thanks for sharing BF's story.

Pamela,
Thanks for seeking out and capturing his interview. Convenience is usually the benefit mentioned for monthly giving. Mentioning the additional benefits of fewer communications and saving money for the org shows that Best Friends Animal Society really view things from the donor's perspective. It also says they do a good job of tracking the actions of people on their "lists."
